Most of us here and elsewhere have been "burned" by the Watchtower and have bitter experiences. How does one remove the bitterness? How does one have such bitter experiences and NOT remain bitter?

Bitterness can be an insidious thing: It steps in and takes over if you aren't "manning the fort". I had to keep reminding myself that no matter who they are, they are still simply imperfect men just like any other men. I had to continue to remind myself that I couldn't expect more than that. It took a long time, especially when some people on some boards are spewing bitterness against things that I've experienced myself....very easy to fall into the "I-know-exactly-what-you-mean....look-what-happened-to-me!!!" routine.

Its hard not to remain bitter when you see these same people from time to time and they act so pompous! It is a defeated feeling for me , waiting for them to be shown how wrong they are and probably wont even happen in out life time. I pray about it , but the feeling keeps creeping back.
